These are all of the facilities that Moberly Parks and Recreation has available for rental and reservation in Rothwell Park. All other shelters or areas are on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve any of the facilities, please click on any link, and you will be taken to our reservation page.
NOTE: You need to have an account with our new system to reserve a facility. You can get an account on the reservation site.

This historic landmark is in downtown Moberly. Built in 1939, its Art Deco architecture and charm make it the perfect location for you to host your meeting, reunion, wedding reception, birthday party, etc.

The Lodge |

Riley Pavilion The largest of our covered shelters, this facility measures 100 X 200 feet. It is adjacent to The Lodge, and a package rental of the Riley Pavilion and The Lodge is available. |

James Youth Center The James Youth Center is a 2,500 square foot facility near the center of Rothwell Park. It has a nice large meeting room, a fireplace and a kitchen, perfect for meetings or other gatherings up to 175 people. |

Lake Pavilion The Lake Pavilion is right next to Rothwell Lake and Candy Cane City. It measures 40 X 50 feet, and has picnic seating for 100 people. |

Overlook/Plaza This is a perfect spot for an open-air gathering or a picturesque photo spot. The Lake Pavilion is not included in a rental of the Overlook/Plaza. If you need the Lake Pavilion, you need to rent it, and rental of the Lake Pavilion includes the Overlook/Plaza. |

Klein Shelter The Klein Shelter is a hexagonal, enclosed facility. It measures 45 X 45 feet, and can hold up to 150 people. |

Shelter #1 This 60 X 80 foot shelter is located near the Skate Park. It seats approximately 130 people, and has many other amenities nearby for your enjoyment. |

Shelter #3 Shelter 3 is located near the handicapped-accessible boat ramp on Rothwell Lake, and measures 60 X 48 feet. It can seat approximately 130 people, and has many great amenities nearby. |

Shelter #5 Shelter 5 is also known as the Lion’s Club Shelter, and is located on the West end of Rothwell Park. It is near the Aquatic Center, Miniature Railroad and many other great park features. It will seat up to 60 people in the pavilion, but with the surrounding area can handle a much larger gathering. |
