The Moberly Tourism Advisory Council (TAC) is an official arm of the City. It was formed by the Moberly City Council as mandated by state law following voter approval of the 4% Hotel-Motel Tax, also known as the tourism tax.  Local citizens comprise the council membership.


The TAC meets monthly and discusses requests for financial assistance from area organizations.

It is the mission of the Tourism Advisory Commission to offer grants, as supported by the tourism tax, to the organizations if the proposed event will bring tourists into Moberly.
