Missouri’s Fair Housing Act

The act provides that no person can legally, for the above reasons:

  • Refuse to sell or rent
  • Discriminate in the terms of sale or rental
  • Discriminate in advertising
  • Represent falsely that a house/unit is not available
  • Practice blockbusting
  • Discriminate in financing

Missouri Commission on Human Rights

Discrimination in housing because of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, disability or familial status is prohibited by law in Missouri. For more detailed information visit the MCHR website.
