Aquatic Center

The Moberly Aquatic Center is located at 100 Rothwell Park Road, just off Highway 24 West. This is THE premier aquatic center in Mid-Missouri! Opened in the Summer of 2009, this modern family aquatic center features:

  • Handicapped accessible entry
  • Water “Sprayground”
  • A current channel
  • 1 meter diving board
  • Climbing Wall (added in 2017)
  • A family water slide
  • A “double twist” water slide
  • Concession Stand

Open Swim
The Moberly Aquatic Center has open swim hours 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm everyday. Daily passes can be purchased at the Aquatic Center. 10 Punch Passes and Season Passes must be purchased at the Parks and Recreation office at 200 N Clark Street.

Private Party
The Moberly Aquatic Center is the perfect spot for your next birthday party, family reunion, or organization event.

Swimming Lessons

Parent & Child Aquatics (6 mos. – 3 yrs.) – This is a great program for little ones and their parents to build swimming readiness by emphasizing fun in the water. Guided parents help their children to learn the elementary skills of water safety, water adjustment, and build the foundation for swimming lessons.

Preschool Levels 1-3 (4-5 yrs.)

Learn to Swim: Levels 1-6 (for ages 6 to Adult)

Level 1 – Introduction to Water Skills. Helps students feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the water safely.

Level 2 – Fundamental Aquatic Skills. Gives students success with fundamentals skills.

Level 3 – Stroke Development. Builds on skills in Level 2 by providing additional guided practice.

Level 4 – Stroke Improvement. Develops confidence in the strokes learned and to improve other aquatic skills.

Level 5 – Stroke Refinement. Provides further coordination and refinement of strokes.

Level 6 – Swimming and Skill Proficiency. Refines the strokes so students swim with ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over great distances.

Financial Assistance Program

The Moberly Parks and Recreation financial assistance program provides economically disadvantaged individuals access to swim lessons and recreation sports programs.
