The Municipal Auditorium
This historic landmark is in downtown Moberly. Built in 1939, its Art Deco architecture and charm make it the perfect location for you to host your meeting, reunion, wedding reception, or birthday party.
The Municipal Auditorium has undergone a renovation that included:
- A new wheelchair-accessible elevator and ADA upgrades
- Refinished wood dance floor and stage
- New stage curtains, lights and sound
- A new kitchen on the main floor
- A new color scheme and paint job on the main floor
The newest of our indoor facilities, this 4,000 square foot multipurpose facility is on the west side of Rothwell Park and includes a full kitchen, restrooms, and back patio and lawn. The Lodge provides a classy, yet rustic atmosphere. It is perfect for a multitude of events from weddings to baby showers and can seat up to 200 people comfortably.
The largest of our covered shelters, this facility measures 100 X 200 feet. It is adjacent to The Lodge and a package rental of the Riley Pavilion and The Lodge is available.
James Youth Center
The James Youth Center is a 2,500 square foot facility at the south end of Rothwell Park. It has a nice large meeting room, a fireplace, and a kitchen. It is perfect for meetings or other gatherings up to 150 people.
The Lake Pavilion is the oldest shelter in Rothwell Park and is located adjacent to Rothwell Lake and Candy Cane City. It measures 40 X 50 feet and has picnic seating for up to 100 people.
This is a perfect spot for an open-air gathering or a picturesque location for photos. The Lake Pavilion is not included in a rental of the Overlook/Plaza. If you need the Lake Pavilion, you need to rent it separately.
The Klein Shelter is a hexagonal, enclosed facility. It measures 45 X 45 feet and can hold up to 100 people.
This 60 X 80 foot shelter is located near the intersection of Park Drive and Holman Road. It seats approximately 100 people and offers a playground nearby for your enjoyment.
Shelter 3 is located near the handicapped-accessible boat ramp on Rothwell Lake, and measures 60 X 48 feet. It can seat approximately 100 people and offers a playground nearby for your enjoyment.
Shelter 5 is also known as the Lion’s Club Shelter and is located on the west side of Rothwell Park across the road from the one mile long miniature railroad. It will seat up to 60 people in the pavilion, but with the surrounding area can handle a much larger gathering.
