Accrual Rate

Each full-time employee will accrue sick leave at the rate of (3.69) hours per pay period, with the exception of members of the Fire Department, who accrue sick leave at the rate of (5.4) hours per pay period. There are no limits to the amount of sick leave that may be accumulated. Sick leave is accrued in an amount proportional to regular hours worked during a pay period.

  • Fire Department members: 5.4 hour per pay period
  • Full-time employee will accrue sick leave: 3.69 hour per pay period

Long Term Disability: Paid for by the City.
