Waste Management (WM)

Carts
WM offers 95-gallon, 65 gallon and 35 gallon totes for trash collection. Cart size is selected at the time a new water account is set up. Cart issues can be addressed by calling WM at 866-909-4458. Changes to cart selections are available in January and May each year, change requests must be submitted prior to January 31st and May 31st to qualify.
Recycling carts are provided at no charge for the first and $5 for each additional tote.
Customers have the ability to add additional carts for trash service. A second or third tote can be added at the customers request. Second and third totes are an additional $5 each.

Bulk Items
WM will collect one bulk item curbside per week (Bulk items are more than 3 feet in any dimension, and/or heavier than 50 lbs and/or otherwise will not fit within an empty tote). This bulk item will be picked on your regular trash collection day and must be on the curb by 7am. Customers must call WM at 866-909-4458 to schedule bulk pick up.
WM has two "White Goods" collections each year:
Third (3d) Monday in May
Third (3rd) Monday in September
Prepayment amount:
White Goods (Freon): $36.15 each
White Goods (Non-Freon): $20.66 each
"White Goods" include refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, freezers, dishwashers, trash compactors, washers, dryers, air conditioners, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, water softeners and commercial large appliances. The customer is responsible to ensure items are empty of all foods and liquids, and that any CFCs and PCBs have been evacuated and captured by a certified technician in accordance with all applicable law, and that doors have been removed from freezers and refrigerators. If these requirements are not met, pickup will not occur.
Residential customers must contact Waste Management (866-909-4458) by 2pm on the Friday prior to the scheduled White Goods collection date and prepay the associated fees.
Holidays
Holidays observed are as follows: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. On these days, routes will be pushed back one day following a holiday. For example, if Christmas Day is Tuesday, and your normal pick up is Wednesday, you will be serviced on Thursday. Customers who are normally serviced on Friday will be on Saturday. If the holiday falls on the weekend, there will be no change in service.

Residents may bring bulk items directly to the Transfer Station for disposal (rates vary by load or item) and must provide a photo ID along with the most recent copy of their water bill.
