The City of Moberly will begin its annual pavement milling and asphalt overlay project on Friday, October 3. The City’s contractor, Christiansen Paving, is expected to be onsite for the next three weeks. The project includes Sparks Ave., completing a long term sewer service upgrade.
Signage will be posted in advance to show areas where vehicles should not be parked during construction hours, generally 7am to 7pm. There will be times when access to driveways is limited or unavailable. Vehicles left on the street in active work zones will be towed at the owner’s expense.
This project is funded by the Transportation Trust sales tax and is guided by a pavement rating system to prioritize repair and preservation efforts.
Project updates will be posted on the City’s website (www.moberlymo.org) and Facebook page.
The City appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as we work to maintain and improve the quality of our streets.
