NS Railroad will close the Coates St. crossing Monday morning through at least Thursday to continue safety improvements. New crossing arms have been installed and street and pedestrian updates will happen this week. Traffic should use Sturgeon or N Ault streets as detours.
The crossing will now prevent drivers from stopping between the east and west track segments. As a result of moving the crossing arms, N Moulton St. is now a northbound, one-way street from E Coates St. to Farror St.
