Located on Beuth Road, this former quarry was given to the City of Moberly by brothers Tom and Bill Riffel. They were the nephews of the late John Beuth, who owned this tract of land until his death.
Site Development
The Moberly Lion’s Club co-sponsored the development of this area. A rail car was converted into a footbridge to the peninsula.
Features include:
- Barbecue grills
- Restroom
- Small open shelters
Recreation Opportunities
Fishing and hiking are popular activities in this neighborhood park, but it is also perfect as a unique place for a family reunion, company picnic, or wedding reception with the bluffs as a beautiful backdrop.
